We are seeking a highly experienced Investment Director to join a prestigious investment firm, with a core focus on metals & mining transactions. This role is instrumental in driving regional and international M&A projects, particularly in the CIS countries.

The Investment Director will be responsible for leading high-impact M&A deals, ensuring both strategic alignment and flawless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the entire lifecycle of M&A transactions, from initial strategy through to post-deal integration.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including representation on the boards of acquired companies.
  • Oversee a team of analysts and managers, providing direction and leadership to ensure all transaction objectives are met.
  • Conduct comprehensive market and financial analysis to inform negotiation strategies and transaction structures.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and achieve long-term strategic goals within the M&A sector.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements throughout each transaction process.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated track record in M&A and Investment Banking, with expertise in metals & mining and other real sector industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of the CIS markets; additional international project experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to influence at senior levels and work effectively within board structures.
  • Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in both Russian and English.
