Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance and Supplier Development Expert to join our team. As a key member of our supplier development team, you will be responsible for conducting supplier assessments, developing and implementing supplier development plans, resolving supplier-related quality issues, and leading supplier audits.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough supplier assessments to evaluate risks and quality potential in accordance with IATF 16949 requirements.
  • Develop and implement customized supplier development plans to enhance supplier performance and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve quality issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Monitor supplier quality goals achievement and conduct periodic reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead supplier audits to assess compliance with IATF 16949 requirements and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to suppliers on quality control processes and improvement methodologies.
  • Establish and update quality targets for suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality management or similar roles within the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience in conducting supplier assessments, audits, and performance reviews.
  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive Industry, Quality Management System, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of IATF 16949 requirements and their practical application in a supplier development context.
  • Proficient level in quality improvement tools, such as statistical process control and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple supplier development initiatives simultaneously.
  • Fluent English language skills.
