Job Description:

The Securities and Derivatives Intermediate Analyst is a pivotal role responsible for streamlining order processing and transaction management. The primary objective of this position is to facilitate the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions in conjunction with the Operations - Transaction Services team.

This critical function involves analyzing data, providing actionable insights to traders, and collaborating with colleagues to optimize trade flow processes.

The analyst will utilize their expertise to identify areas for improvement, develop process enhancements, and implement new policies to minimize risk and maximize efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing securities transactions and providing analytical support to traders
  • Utilizing data analysis tools and methodologies to drive process improvements
  • Resolving settlement-related issues and escalating as necessary
  • Contributing to project implementation, including new products, services, and platform upgrades
  • Identifying policy gaps and developing recommendations for enhanced trade flow processes
  • Monitoring and resolving errors to minimize risk
  • Providing guidance and training to new team members
Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of Treasury products, accounting, and regulatory policies
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
