Lead Strategic M&A Transactions in Metals & Mining and Oil & Gas

We are seeking an experienced Director of Investments to lead strategic M&A transactions in the metals & mining and oil & gas sectors with a geographic focus on the CIS and Middle East. This role requires a professional with a strong track record of closed deals and a deep understanding of industrial value chains and sector dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute end-to-end deal execution for M&A and strategic investment opportunities
  • Manage deal structuring negotiations due diligence and closing processes
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of investment opportunities in the target sectors
  • Present investment cases and recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Collaborate with external advisors legal counsel and technical consultants
  • Monitor industry developments geopolitical trends and macroeconomic risks

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in investment banking M&A advisory private equity or corporate M&A
  • Proven track record of successfully closed transactions in metals & mining and/or oil & gas
  • Industry expertise and understanding of operational commercial and regulatory aspects of the sectors
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
  • Excellent negotiation leadership and communication abilities
  • Advanced degree in Finance Economics or a related field MBA or CFA is advantageous
  • Fluency in English and Russian
