Market & Business Development Specialist

This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape FMC's commercial presence across a diverse and strategically important region. As the Market & Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding market share not only in Kazakhstan, but also across Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Armenia. You will play a key role in executing FMC's regional strategy, introducing innovative crop protection solutions, and supporting sustainable agricultural practices throughout Central Asia and the Caucasus.

What you'll do with us:

• Lead sales activities in Southern Kazakhstan and support product demonstrations across Central Asia and the Caucasus.
• Act as the primary contact for customers, providing agronomic advice and product recommendations.
• Organize and manage field trials, demo days, and promotional events.
• Collect and analyse market intelligence including competitor activity, pricing, and customer preferences.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to align campaigns with regional insights.
• Provide feedback from the field to support product development and positioning.

Your qualification & attributes:

• Degree in Agronomy or a related agricultural field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within crop protection or agri-inputs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel); CRM experience is a plus.
• Fluent in Russian; English proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively across the region.
