What you'll be doing:

As Chief Accountant, you'll play a key role in ensuring our financial records are accurate, compliant, and insightful. You'll lead statutory reporting and audits, manage financial controls, and collaborate across teams to improve processes. Your work will help shape how Avon meets both local and global financial standards, while supporting business decisions with reliable data.

Key responsibilities:

What you'll be working on:

• Preparing and reviewing monthly financial reports
• Leading statutory audits and ensuring timely filings
• Managing US GAAP vs. local statutory adjustments
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements
• Monitoring local regulations and implementing changes
• Collaborating with internal teams and external partners (e.g. EY, BDO)
• Supporting tax advisory and statutory forecasting
• Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and certification commentary
• Driving process improvements and knowledge sharing across teams

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of accounting experiece
• Experience in financial reporting, audits, and compliance
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluency in English
