About The Role
We are looking for a QA engineer with experience in both manual and automated backend testing for a project that develops data management services.
Reporting Line - Director, Backend
Worksite: Remote/ Hybrid/ On-site
Responsibilities
Functional and exploratory testing of back-end services, and preparing them for release;
Support and development of a set of autotests;
Monitoring and analysis of service performance metrics on test benches;
Creating bug reports (Jira);
Formalization of the test base in TMS (Qase)
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of testing theory and hands-on experience with test design techniques.
Experience in writing API automation tests in Python using Pytest, applying OOP principles in test frameworks.
Proficiency in working with the Linux command line (SSH, grep, less, top, iptables, etc.) at a confident user level.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and practical experience working in Scrum teams.
Proactive and responsible approach to problem-solving bringing solutions, not just identifying issues.
Upper-Intermediate English, capable of reading and understanding technical documentation.
