Finance Supervisor – Kazakhstan,Almaty

Job Overview: The Finance Supervisor will play a key role in the financial management of our Kazakhstan-based subsidiaries. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from company health management and accounting to auditing and project finance management, with a strong emphasis on compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the financial stability and success of our projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure legal compliance for the company's operations in Kazakhstan.
- Manage accounting functions, including tax declarations, bank account management, audit preparations, and other financial matters for Kazakhstan company, with support from the Group's financial departments and third-party experts.
- Prepare financial reports as required by the company leadership.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of subsidiary systems.
- Provide support to team members on issues related to subsidiaries, finance, and systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or CFA certification is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles. and a thorough understanding of financial statements.
- Proficiency in financial management software, accounting tools, and ERP systems(SAP system and 1C system).
- Fluent in Russian and English communication, Kazakh is a plus.
- Capable of liaising with local suppliers or colleagues, with the ability to engage directly with relevant overseas institutions.
- Optimistic and capable of embracing challenges.
- Experience in accounting firm is a plus.
