A leading real estate development group is seeking an experienced and strategic Group Finance Director to oversee the financial management of a high-profile mixed-use asset in Astana, including retail, residential, commercial office space, and an internationally branded hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all financial operations: accounting, budgeting, cash flow, compliance, and reporting

  • Develop and implement financial strategy aligned with asset and shareholder goals

  • Oversee financial performance across all asset classes, including hotel operations (RevPAR, GOP, EBITDA)

  • Prepare and present financial reports to shareholders and executive leadership

  • Support investment analysis, leasing decisions, and asset repositioning (IRR, ROI modelling)

  • Ensure adherence to IFRS/GAAP standards and internal controls

  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in senior finance roles, preferably in real estate and/or hospitality

  • At least 5 years in a managerial finance position

  • Strong understanding of mixed-use assets and hotel financial reporting

  • Experience working with shareholders, banks, and external auditors

  • Fluent in English and Russian (Kazakh is an advantage)

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred)
