As a LWD (Logging While Drilling) Field Specialist you will be responsible for providing LWD solutions at well sites.  Working under general supervision, you will collaborate with the Directional Drilling team, utilizing computers to perform well site surveys and monitor well sensors during the drilling process.
 

As a Field Specialist (LWD), you will be responsible for:
 

• Overseeing the monitoring of the operational status of field equipment at well-sites to ensure reliability and availability
• Solving often complex drilling problems, by monitoring, analyzing and evaluating the situation using logging and drilling data
• Rigging up surface acquisition systems and programming LWD tools to ensure efficient service delivery
• Supporting external customers and cross-functional teams at wellsite to provide technical knowledge and direction as needed
• Applying Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained

To be successful in this role you will:
 

• Have technical degree or equivalent
• Have min 1 year of LWD experience (mud logging, directional drilling or other applicable Oilfield Industry experience may be considered), previous experience with Baker Hughes processes preferable
• Have fluent Russian and Kazakh language and intermediate English
• Demonstrate a good technical and mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn and improve knowledge and skills
• Be detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be a team player with ability to work independently
• Demonstrate networking and computer skills and be familiar with MS Office
• Have experience of day, evening or overnight remote operations and following operations center policies and compliance
• Have an awareness of HSE requirements and be able to follow all safety policies and procedures
