As a Payroll Analyst at OLX, you will become part of a dedicated and dynamic global team. In this role, you will be responsible for Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan payroll, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance. Your main objective will be to guarantee that payroll and payments to employees and third parties are processed accurately, in compliance with regulations, and on time. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, practical skills, the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-moving environment, and a strong drive for achieving results and improving processes.

In that position, you'll closely collaborate with HR, Office manager, Accounting and Finance.

• Process payroll payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirementsfor Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan
• Maintain and update payroll records, including salary details, employee status changes, and deductions
• Handle and resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries from employees
• Prepare and submit payroll and tax reports to management and regulatory authorities
• Ensure timely submission of payroll taxes and other deductions
• Calculate bonuses, overtime, material aid and commissions accurately
• Coordinate with HR and finance teams regarding employee benefits and deductions
• Stay updated with laws and regulations affecting payroll, labor laws, and tax filings and update system accordingly
• Work with payroll software and other financial systems to ensure effective processing
• Provide ideas, solutions, and tools to increase efficiency of payroll operations and explore automation opportunity
• Deliver information and reports for internal and external audits
• Maintain a relationship with various stakeholders

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• At least 3 years experience in payroll
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax regulations, and accounting principles
• Proficiency in using payroll software(1C system) and accounting systems
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll data
• Ability to manage sensitive employee information confidentially
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Experience with reporting and reconciliation is a plus
• Fluency in English is required
• Knowledge of taxation of different categories of employees, third parties, contract workers, non residents 
• Experience in filing tax and statistical reports
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
