Our organization is seeking a seasoned Senior Corporate Lawyer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate law, particularly with private equity or investment funds.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of legal matters, including structuring, compliance, investor relations, and transactional work. You will also provide comprehensive legal support to the organization across all stages of its operations.

  • You will act as lead legal advisor for two portfolio companies, handling day-to-day corporate matters, governance, commercial contracts, and regulatory issues.
  • Ensure full compliance with relevant regulations and coordinate with external counsel when necessary.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including investment agreements, shareholder agreements, and financing documents.
  • Work closely with senior management, investment teams, and other stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
  • Anticipate legal risks and proactively develop solutions to mitigate them.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with a solid understanding of cross-border legal frameworks and AIFC regulations. Key requirements include:

  • A law degree from a reputable university; admission to practice law in Kazakhstan or another recognized jurisdiction.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in corporate law, ideally with exposure to private equity or investment funds.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Fluent professional English and Russian (both written and spoken).
