The Role of a Receptionist is to provide exceptional customer service and create memorable experiences for guests. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Include:
Welcoming and checking in guests in a friendly and professional manner
Handling check-in and check-out procedures, managing guest accounts, and ensuring smooth communication between guests and hotel departments
Providing information about hotel services, promotions, and local attractions, as well as actively upselling rooms and services
Handling guest requests such as wake-up calls, transportation arrangements, and VIP services
Managing and resolving guest complaints in a courteous and effective manner, escalating issues when necessary
Maintaining accurate records of shift activities and preparing daily reports
Ensuring compliance with hotel standards, credit policy, and safety procedures
Keeping the reception and lobby area clean, organized, and welcoming
Maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues and other hotel departments
Higher Education in Hospitality or Related Field Preferred
Minimum 1 Year Experience in Front Office or Guest Service Role, Preferably in a 4-5* Hotel
Knowledge of Opera PMS, Fidelio, and MS Office (Excel in Particular)
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Good Command of English (Oral and Written); Additional Languages an Advantage
Knowledge of Safety and Security Procedures, Telephone Etiquette, and Hospitality Standards
Attention to Detail, Accuracy in Handling Financial Transactions, and Customer-Oriented Attitude
Full-Time Position with 5/2 Schedule, Working in Rotating Shifts
Flexibility Required to Cover Different Shifts, Including Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays if Necessary
