Deputy General Director for production and technical issues

Yildirim Holding Kazakhstan is looking for a motivated Deputy General Director for production and technical issues.

Responsibilities:

1. Organizes technical preparation of production or other types of core activities of the enterprise, ensures improvement of the quality of products, works (services) and increase its competitiveness, reduction of material and labor costs for the manufacture of products, production of works (services).

2. Coordinates the work of the enterprise's technical services to test new technical means, create and develop new types of products, complex automation and mechanization of production, planning the implementation of scientific and technical achievements, new equipment and progressive technology.

3. Manages the current and long-term planning of the technical development of the enterprise and its production base.

4. Manages the preparation of technical specifications for the design of newly built production facilities, structures, technical means, expansion, development and reconstruction of existing ones, for the introduction of automation and mechanization equipment. Reviews and coordinates design documentation for equipment modernization and workplace rationalization.

5. Monitors the conclusion and execution of contracts related to technical activities, as well as the financing and correctness of calculations of the economic efficiency of measures for the development of new equipment and technology, new types of raw materials and finished products.

6. Participates in the development and introduction into production of resource-saving technologies, progressive consumption rates of main types of raw materials and materials, in the study of the causes of defects and the release of lower grade products, in the development of measures to improve the quality of products (works, services) and more efficient use of production capacities.

7. In the absence of independent design and technology departments, performs the functions of their managers.

8. Directs the activities of departments dealing with issues of product standardization, scientific and technical information, as well as the organization of patent and invention work.

9. Manages employees of departments and services, coordinates and directs the activities of enterprise divisions that provide technical preparation of production.

10. Complies with and monitors employees' compliance with labor and production discipline, labor protection rules and regulations, industrial sanitation and hygiene requirements, fire safety rules, the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on civil protection, and the environmental code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

11. Ensures that the instructions and instructions of the enterprise administration concerning issues related to the functional responsibilities of the head of the technical department are brought to the attention of employees and their execution.

Requirements:

1. Work experience of at least 10 years. At least 5 years of experience in management positions.

2. Knowledge of English is required. Level C1/С2 fluent in oral and written language / Knowledge of Turkish will be a plus.

3. Experience in the mining industry: copper, gold, chrome, etc. Experience working in an open pit, knowledge of the flotation process.

4. Higher technical education in Mineral processing or Metallurgy.
