We are looking for an Electrical Engineer for our Redesign and Engineering team, maybe it's you?
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Design Engineer is an Engineer responsible for carrying out the duties of design, research, prototyping, validating products through identification and consideration of Customer needs.
Report hierarchically to Redesign and Localization Engineering Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Researching, Designing or Analyzing both New or Already Developed products within different processes using tools and data available;
- Providing detailed specifications/analysis for proposed solutions including time and scope involved;
- Validating the Specifications with Suppliers / Design Authorities;
- Developing and building prototypes and run tests to measure their level of function;
- Identifying solutions to improve product and production efficiency;
- Maintaining existing engineering records and designs;
- Recording and evaluating testing data, altering designs as necessary to bring them to safety, performance and efficiency standards;
- Consulting with Production department / Suppliers during product manufacturing, advising them on design specifications and providing physical assistance when required;
- Calculating cost estimates for final product designs, and release reports to supervisors, incorporating costs of labor, material, delivery and overhead
- Attending team meetings to provide progress reports, obtain updates on colleagues' progress, strategize on steps for following week;
- Participating in Continuous Improvement through development and implementation of all Engineering specific and general internal controls, general policies & procedures for all Engineering activities;
- Maintaining and monitoring engineering activities in progress trackers, project plans, and project schedules;
- Preparing reports, charts and other documentation required for engineering records and projects;
- Creating healthy inter-department relationships;
- Maintaining professional and friendly communications as the first point of call for general external enquiries and correspondence;
- Assisting in the training of personnel when required;
- Performing other related duties as assigned by Engineering Manager.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 1 years of Engineering experience
TECHNICAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Strong communication English, Kazakh and Russian (English written, verbal and presentation skills);
- Highly Organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously;
- Computer literacy a must, with a strong knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
