Purchasing Specialist

Job Summary: Analyze and optimize material procurement costs, negotiate prices with suppliers, and facilitate local supply chain management.

It is necessary to discover material suppliers and proceed with purchase contracts with a cost minimization perspective (TCO). The job holder should review price adequacy based on cost analysis (HQ collaboration) and proceed with the contract (bidding or consultation contract).

Responsibilities:

• • Analyze the cost of materials and extract cost-related data from the system.

  • • Calculate and report required data.
  • • Share and consult with HQ regarding the cost.

• • Discover cost savings by identifying reduction factors based on analyzed cost-related data in consultation with HQ.

  • • Conduct price comparison between home country procurement amount and local procurement amount.

• • Find local manufacturers of materials and facilitate delivery and purchase in consultation with suppliers.

• • Sign a contract to purchase materials for local supply and demand, and negotiate lower contract unit prices through competitive bidding.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years in SCM part and management of purchasing.
• Bachelor's degree in Purchasing or Business Administration.
• Ability of cost analysis for purchasing.
• Ability to negotiate prices with suppliers.
• Business correspondence and communication skills.
• PC literacy: MS-Office apps such as Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Language: English Intermediate.
