IT Specialist

Responsibilities:

- Server Backup Supervision: Manage data backup and recovery processes;

- Office equipment monitoring and maintenance: Scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting;

- Office network management: Configuring, monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure (including routers, switches and access points);

- Regular reporting to central office: Prepare and send reports according to established forms;

- Participate in IT and security audits: Prepare and participate in audits, implement recommendations;

- Network Storage Management (Z-disk): Administering and securing data;

- Procurement of software and hardware licenses: Organizing tenders, negotiating with suppliers;

- Helpdesk functions: Providing assistance to users, solving technical problems;

- Regional office support: Remote and local IT problem solving;

- NPC / MON management: Administration and support of the system.

Requirements:

- IT education and experience: Higher education in IT or related field;

- Experience with corporate information systems: Ability to analyze and resolve errors / failures;

- Fast learner and good communication skills: Ability to interact effectively with team and users;

- Time management and organizational skills: Ability to multi-task;

- Teamwork and stress management skills: Ability to work in a team and remain calm in stressful situations;

- Experience with Linux and Windows: Administration of Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows (Windows Server 2016/2019) based servers;

- Experience with virtualization: Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V or similar technologies;

- Experience with networking equipment: Knowledge of routers, switches, network protocols;

- IT project experience: Project management, implementation of new systems and solutions;

- Knowledge of ITIL: Understanding of IT service management processes and methodologies according to ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library).

Examples of specific tasks:

- Setting up and managing Linux and Windows based servers: installing and configuring Apache/Nginx, configuring Active Directory;

- Monitoring and optimization of network traffic: using tools like Zcaller, Netcops to analyze traffic and identify problems. Knowledge of NAC principles;

- Implementation of data backup and recovery systems: For example, configuring and managing systems like Veeam or Acronis;

- IT project management: implementing a document management system or migrating to new software;

- Applying ITIL principles: setting up and optimizing Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management processes.

Additional Requirements:

- Certifications: Availability of certifications like CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, ITIL Foundation will be an advantage;

- Knowledge of scripting and automation: Ability to write scripts in Bash, PowerShell, Python to automate routine tasks.
