The position will report to Finance Director Kazakhstan and will be located in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Overall Mission:
Serve as a single point for the Finance Director for all actions/questions/challenges for the Finance Director. Ensure that necessary reporting, budgeting, compliance requirements are completed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner, Initiate, lead and manage digital and other innovations, including process automation, introduction of new tools, process improvement, Lead, develop, motivate and assign subordinated staff to appropriate tasks, ensure efficient delegation and distribution of responsibilities with the departments according to the Group Leadership Principles, ensure succession planning in accordance with the Group standards
Tasks and responsibilities:
Assist Finance Director in daily activities and projects implementation, including the following:
processes and organizational changes implementations, control, organization and responsibility over reporting and budgeting process, accuracy of accounting and internal/external audit processes coordination, plans and sources of financing development, involving in strategic planning and investment models calculations, taxes verification and analysis, development of tax optimization plan, analysis of production and finance operational KPIs (incl. WCAP, CF, marginality, etc.) coordination and first review of monthly quarterly presentations, risk management, drive and lead the innovations, including digitalization, result improvement proposals and process effectiveness improvement, communication with Group Finance, Tax, Reporting & Controlling.Requirements:
Education
University degree (Master / Specialist) in business administration or economy with focus on finance (Russian, European and/or US universities as an advantage) ACCA / CIMA / MBA fully completed or more than half exams passed as an advantageProfessional competence
At least 6 years of professional financial controlling & reporting experience in a mid- or large-size production industry, extractive industry experience highly preferable At least 3 years of management position experience with proven track of staff management and project management Technical expertise in both financial and management reporting with a solid working knowledge of local and international accounting and tax rules IT expertise in BI or similar system with proven record of process automation Expertise in SAP-applications would be an advantage Managerial experience in Big 4 audit companies would be an advantageSoft skills
