About the role

The HR Advisor partners with internal client groups to provide HR support and guidance to the global Group Functions businesses. The primary focus of this position is to provide proactive value-added HR support to leaders and managers across teams to deliver the effective implementation of initiatives and effective outcomes for the business.

What you will be doing

Provision of day-to-day HR generalist support to leaders and front line managerswithin the Group Functions to enable the delivery of business strategy for the Group Functions; Ensure that appropriate processes within the employee lifecycle are followed including activities relating to recruitment, hire, promotions, performance reviews, salary adjustments, terminations in line with the HR Standard; Front End support through coaching Line Managers and Employees on the use of all HR systems (SuccessFactors); Provide first line advice on policy and process; Support the process of International Assignment Management administration, i.e. Expatriation, Inpatriation & Repatriation; Performance activities including job evaluation, Orica Performance Management and Orica Incentive Plan; Provision of data and analysis of trends to develop solutions where required; Ensuring data integrity and maintenance of accurate employee data in the approved global HR system; Continuous improvement of HR processes; Provide advice and support to line managers to assist them with ER issues including performance management; Assist in investigation process and support the Group Functions HR team to implement recommendations; Work with the Regional HR Employee Services teams; Implementation of organizational wide projects at local level as required; Review of regional industrial relations trends and the provision of ER/IR advice to the business; Partnering with the COE to deliver specialist functional services, manage the relationship, ensure the COE is aware of the region/site requirements and ensure delivery against agreed standards of service.

Critical Experience and Qualifications:

Strong communication, collaboration and Influencing skills; Working knowledge of relevant employment legislation, law and awards; Change management skills; Strong administration and organization skills; Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail; Strong stakeholder management skills; Ability to work autonomously and as a virtual team; Proven HR generalist / operational experience; Relevant degree.

What you will bring

Minimum 3 to 6 years experience post qualification; Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders; Strong strategic and commercial acumen supported by sound commercial judgement; Ability to plan, influence & execute; Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategic logic and recommended pathways, coupled with the ability to present to key stakeholders.

Your qualifications

Diploma in People Management, excellent knowledge of Kazakhstan Legislation requirements & Labor Law, Union & Collective agreement practice knowledge, Kazakh language is a benefit, SHES legislation knowledge.
