 Join our team We are looking for a Risk Manager / Risk Analyst in Almaty office

Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan
Portfolio: South Africa

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support the credit decision-making strategy for
  individual clients (setting scorecard cut-offs, approval/decline rules)
• Implement and integrate new data sources (alternative data,
  partner APIs, credit bureau data)
• Design and maintain credit limit policies and rules
• Analyze portfolio quality, monitor key metrics (FPD, NPL,
  approval rate), and prepare regular reports
• Develop A/B tests, validate models, and assess the impact of
  changes on risk and profitability
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and IT teams to implement
  solutions
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory
  requirements

Requirements:

• University degree in economics, finance, mathematics,
  statistics, or a related discipline
• 2+ years of experience as a risk manager, credit risk analyst,
  or in a credit team of an MFI/bank
• Knowledge of scoring methods, credit modeling, and risk
  assessment
• Experience with alternative data sources and external API
  integrations is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL
• Python knowledge is a strong advantage
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in
  cross-functional teams
• English level: B2 or higher
