Position Summary
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Whole School Psychologist to join our team. This role supports students across all age groups (ages 3–18) by promoting emotional wellbeing, social development, and mental health. The school psychologist works closely with students, teachers, leadership, and families to help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive school culture.
Key Responsibilities

Provide individual and group counseling for students experiencing academic, emotional, social, or behavioral challenges

Support and guide students through transitions, personal growth, and development

Work collaboratively with teachers and parents to identify student needs and develop appropriate interventions

Develop and deliver workshops, SEL lessons, and classroom support activities across grade levels

Coordinate with external professionals and agencies when necessary

Contribute to schoolwide wellbeing programs, student leadership, and peer support initiatives

Support child protection policies and procedures and contribute to a safe school environment

Monitor and evaluate the impact of support strategies and programs
Requirements
-
Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (Master's preferred)

Certification or licensure as a school psychologist or counselor

Minimum 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents in a school or clinical setting

Knowledge of child development, trauma-informed practices, and mental health support strategies

Experience working in multicultural or international settings is highly desirable

Fluency in English (professional level)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion, and a high level of professionalism

Familiarity with the IB framework or international education systems

Experience with students with special educational needs

Ability to deliver schoolwide SEL or wellbeing initiatives

Skills in conflict resolution, mediation, or restorative practices
