Work location: Alliance Texas Health Trail, Alliance/Keller, TX 76244
Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Travel: 25%25 to surrounding clinics as needed (mileage reimbursement provided)

Here's What You Need
High School Diploma or equivalent (required) and
CMA – Certified Medical Assistant with 2 years' experience Monitoring Cardiac Stress Testing (required) or
Associate degree in Exercise Physiology or relevant Healthcare field (required)
Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology or relevant Healthcare field (preferred)
Knowledge of EKG rhythms and interpretation, including fatal rhythms (strongly preferred)
IV starts capability (strongly preferred)
12 Lead ECG capability (strongly preferred)
BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire (required)
6 months experience in Cardiac or Stress Testing environment (preferred)
Documentation of EKG training (preferred)
ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire (preferred)
Have basic knowledge EKGs and stress testing
Must possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
Ability to effectively communicate to staff and patients
Demonstrates sound judgment and composure with the ability to take appropriate action in questionable or emergency situations
Maintains a positive, caring attitude towards patients
Good computer skills using a medical management application
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Cardiac Stress Monitor Technician Process
Deliver appropriate care to patients by performing walking Exercise stress testing and Stress Echo testing
Work with the physicians to produce quality stress tests by ensuring correct lead placement, operating stress testing equipment, monitoring patients at rest, stress and recovery and recording blood pressures as directed
Prepare preliminary reports of test results for interpretation by the physician
Communicate with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions while undergoing or after stress testing
Prepare testing rooms, stock supplies and maintain daily cleaning list
Can expect to cross-train in the Nuclear department for stress test coverage and IV starts and for help with Holter report documentation
Be prepared to escalate non-routine issues to the practice manager or physician
Performs other duties as assigned by practice manager or physician
