Project Engineer – SchoolConstruction ProjectLocation: Astana, Kazakhstan Reports to: Client / Investor Project: Construction of a newschool campus Contract Type: Long term (subject toabove satisfactory Performance) Role OverviewThe Project Engineer is responsible for theoverall technical leadership and coordination of the school constructionproject. This includes ensuring that construction is executed in accordancewith design and regulatory standards, controlling quality and budget,coordinating between all technical parties, and keeping the investor informedof the overall Project's integrity, progress & Risks. Key Responsibilities:●       Serveas the central technical authority representing the Client. ●       Coordinate between the General Contractor, Author Supervision, andTechnical Supervision teams and other stakeholders as needed. ●       Ensure alignment between all subcontractors on constructionmethodology, schedules, and responsibilities.●       Organize andoversee construction and installation works according to the approved scheduleand project documentation. ●       Interact withgovernment authorities for obtaining permits, approvals, and coordinatingutility connections. ●       Ensure fullcompliance with applicable construction standards and safety regulations (SNiP,GOST, etc.). ●       Coordinate withcontractors and sub -contractors on work quality, timelines, milestones andtechnical issues while troubleshooting bottlenecks and challenges to align theProject direction with the project's strategic Objectives.   ●       Verify thecompletion of each construction stage, review and sign -off work completioncertificates before Project Manager's approval. ●       Carry out valueEngineering for the Project's cost savings. ●       Monitorconstruction progress and prepare regular analytical reports, schedules, andstatus updates ●       Lead technicaland on -site working meetings, providing recommendations to optimize constructionprocesses ●       Control thetimely correction of identified defects, violations, and deviations fromproject documentation Ensure timelypreparation and submission of as -built documentation and materials required forcommissioning. Communicate construction progress clearly to theOperations Manager and prepare official letters, notices, and instructions tosupport timely commissioning of the facility Requirements Qualifications: ●       Bachelor'sdegree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related field●       Minimum 5 yearsof construction industry experience, including at least 2 years in a seniorengineering or project leadership role●       Strongknowledge of construction technologies, building codes, regulatory requirementsand Project Management.●       Experience withcost estimates and preparation of executive (as -built) documentation●       Proficient inAutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft ExcelPrevious experience in educational or publicinfrastructure projects is a plus Personality:●       Excellentorganizational and problem -solving skills ●       Stronginterpersonal and negotiation skills for working with contractors andgovernment agencies ●       High attentionto detail and quality control ●       Ability to workindependently and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines ●       Strong verbaland written communication skills in Kazakh and/or Russian; English proficiencyis a plus●       Good contactswith Hakimat department and state expertise. ​ Benefits As per agreement and understanding.
