Senior Marketing Manager

School of Engineering and Digital Sciences, Nazarbayev University

Senior Marketing Manager performs the following duties and responsibilities:

1) implements an effective marketing strategy to promote the School, including the organization and participation in the School's activities aimed at attracting students to academic programs in conjunction with concerned structural divisions of the University;

2) carries out activities to increase the public reputation of the School, increases the level of public awareness of its activities, and extends channels for disseminating public information about School activities in conjunction with concerned structural divisions of the University;

3) participates in the development and implementation of the School student recruitment plan, in the realization of the University's internationalization strategy, and the program for transferring the experience of Nazarbayev University to Kazakhstani universities in conjunction with concerned structural divisions of the University;

4) develops and monitors the execution of the School's communications plan in conjunction with concerned structural divisions of the University;

5) prepares the information and analytical materials for the School's presentations on external media resources;

6) develops, maintains, and constantly updates the applicants' database (CRM system) and communicates with applicants; 

7) develops the design and content of printed materials and multimedia content for the School;

8) develops and maintains the content for websites and social networks of the School; 

9) conducts analytical and research activities to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns of the School;

10) cooperates with external organizations in promoting the programs of the School and works with alumni of the School;

11) participates in the process of budget development and the School's investment plan for the corresponding financial year and for the medium term within the framework of the supervised area;

12) works with incoming correspondence, with requests for structural divisions of the University, timely submits the answers to letters, citizens' appeals, within the framework of the supervised area; 

13) participates in the processes of identification, assessment, management, monitoring of risks within the framework of the supervised area;

14) temporarily performs the duties (replaces) of the other Senior Manager and Manager (for academic and student affairs) during his/her temporary absence (up to one month);

15) timely and properly executes the tasks of the line manager and the University`s management;

16) observes the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Employer`s internal documents;

17) is responsible for exercising the labor and performance discipline;

18) is responsible for ensuring the integrity of official documents, and prevention of the disclosure or leakage of confidential and business information, as well as information of restricted access by the legislation, Charter, and, internal documents of the Employer;   

19) in case of dismissal, is responsible for the timely transfer of all paper documentation, digital information, and inventory to another employee as instructed by the line manager (to be certified by the act of acceptance-transfer). 

Education

Higher education, preferably with English as a language of instruction;

A master's degree is preferred

Qualifications

Work experience

- Minimum five years of experience. 

- Minimum three years with a Master's degree in the relevant field.
