An investment firm is looking for a seasoned Vice President to join its M&A team, with a strong focus on oil & gas transactions across the CIS and the Middle East. This is a position where youll be working closely with clients, leading deals from start to finish, and guiding teams through the full M&A process. Key Responsibilities: Take charge of executing M&A deals for clients including everything from due diligence and financial modeling to negotiations, documentation, and closing. Work on international deals, mainly in the oil & gas and broader industrial sectors, across the CIS and Middle East regions. Build and manage relationships with senior-level clients, becoming a trusted advisor during the deal process. Lead and mentor analysts and associates, making sure projects run smoothly and deliverables meet a high standard. Do deep-dive analysis into markets, companies, and financials to help shape strategy and deal structure. Support business development by working with partners and directors on pitches and client proposals. Make sure all work meets legal and regulatory standards. Profile: At least 6 years of hands-on experience in M&A advisory, investment banking, private equity, or in-house corporate M&A. Solid experience working on both buy-side and sell-side deals. Background in project finance is a bonus. Strong project and team management skills, with the ability to handle several stakeholders and tight timelines. Fluent in Russian and English.
