Job Overview

The Role of a Receptionist is to provide exceptional customer service and create memorable experiences for guests. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Responsibilities Include:

  • Welcoming and checking in guests in a friendly and professional manner

  • Handling check-in and check-out procedures, managing guest accounts, and ensuring smooth communication between guests and hotel departments

  • Providing information about hotel services, promotions, and local attractions, as well as actively upselling rooms and services

  • Handling guest requests such as wake-up calls, transportation arrangements, and VIP services

  • Managing and resolving guest complaints in a courteous and effective manner, escalating issues when necessary

  • Maintaining accurate records of shift activities and preparing daily reports

  • Ensuring compliance with hotel standards, credit policy, and safety procedures

  • Keeping the reception and lobby area clean, organized, and welcoming

  • Maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues and other hotel departments

Qualifications
  • Higher Education in Hospitality or Related Field Preferred

  • Minimum 1 Year Experience in Front Office or Guest Service Role, Preferably in a 4-5* Hotel

  • Knowledge of Opera PMS, Fidelio, and MS Office (Excel in Particular)

  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills

  • Good Command of English (Oral and Written); Additional Languages an Advantage

  • Knowledge of Safety and Security Procedures, Telephone Etiquette, and Hospitality Standards

  • Attention to Detail, Accuracy in Handling Financial Transactions, and Customer-Oriented Attitude
